Repainting Perceptions

Description: Repainting Perceptions is a six week workshop that provides a space for Flemingdon and Thorncliffe Park residents to share their stories, challenge religious and cultural stereotyping, and break through social isolation. snapd dropped by the second workshop to check out some of the fun! Photography and portraiture painting are used as a way to stimulate conversation on current issues and build bridges between various ethnocultural communities. Repainting Perceptions was presented by Art Ignite, in partnership with North York Arts, Inspirit Foundation, and Flemingdon Park Library.
